Meet the DP1a feature-rich digital interface for audiophiles who want to get the best out of both USB and network sources. With YULONGs seventh-generation JIC (Jitter and Interfacing Control) processor at its core, the DP1 handles high-resolution formats, syncs cleanly with external clocks, and integrates smoothly into systems with coaxial, AES, optical, and I2S outputs. Whether you’re running a multi-device audio chain or streaming lossless from your server, the DP1 gives you clarity, precision, and tons of flexibility.
The DP1 uses YULONGs 7th-generation JIC module, a proprietary FPGA-based engine that handles everything from clock synchronization to USB interfacing. This isn’t an off-the-shelf chipit’s a deeply integrated, purpose-built processor developed in-house over years of iteration and refinement. The result is stable, low-jitter transmission with minimal digital noise.
Instead of relying on a general-purpose OS and driver stack, the DP1 runs a stripped-down Linux kernel tailored for digital audio. The dual-core processor communicates directly with the FPGA, handling network streaming, USB transfer, clock PLL, and SPDIF encoding in one tight loop. Everythings tuned for audioright down to the memory layout.
DLNA, AirPlay2, Roon Bridge, Squeezelite, Spotify, LMS, HQPlayer NAA, Daphileits all available on the DP1. Stream from your preferred server or app without conversion losses or weird workarounds. Plus, it uses I2S in slave mode with dual Accusilicon AS338 oscillators, keeping the clock local and accurate. This gives you a cleaner, more coherent stream than standard USB audio.
YULONGs FPGA+ULPI USB interface is hardware-basedno messy driver layers, no interrupt overhead. It supports PCM1536kHz and DSD1024 natively and avoids the timing drift and conversion artifacts that can plague software-driven USB inputs.
The DP1 offers coaxial, optical, AES, and I2S outputseach filtered and clocked for minimum noise and maximum stability. Coax and AES outputs support PCM384 and DoP128, while I2S can hit up to PCM1536 and DSD1024.
A 25W linear power supply provides interference-free power. Each major subsystemCPU, network port, USB, clock, PLL, driver stagehas its own low-noise regulator. The analog design minimizes interference between sections, giving you a quieter background and a more dynamic signal.
The IPS screen shows real-time signal spectrums and vintage-style VU meters, adding a touch of analog flair to this digital powerhouse. The interface is simplejust one knob controls all settings. You can customize the display, turn it off automatically, or leave it on to admire the visuals.
Machined from a single block of aluminum, the DP1’s enclosure is sturdy, vibration-resistant, and seamless. Claw-shaped metal feet isolate it from external vibrations, while the global voltage selector makes it easy to use in different regions without needing a step-down converter.
